If you have read my blog for herbal syrups then you surely already know how simple it is to prepare them and how many applications they have. One of the best ways to use them is to make a home-made herbal lemonade.

All you need to prepare your herbal lemonade is water and herbal simple-syrup. There are endless combinations of herbs you can use for your herbal syrup. Feel free to experiment and adjust them to your taste. I personally prefer the single herb syrups and in this blog I am going to share with you my top four favorite herbal lemonades.

For each of them you can either use still or gas water, according to your taste. Adding lemon, lime or fresh berries is optional, but I promise that it´ super good!

 

Rose Lemonade

– 1l water (still or carbonated)

– 100ml rose syrup (or more if you prefer your lemonade sweeter)

– Add fresh berries (optional) 🍓

Mix everything together and take a sip from your new favorite summer drink!

 

Lavender Lemonade

– 1 liter water (still or carbonated)

– 100ml lavender syrup (or more if you prefer your lemonade sweeter)

– Juice from ½ lemon

– A few slices of lemon (optional)

Mix everything together and enjoy it!

Elderflower Lemonade

– z1 liter water (still or carbonated)

– 100ml elderflower syrup (or more if you prefer your lemonade sweeter)

– A few slices of ginger (optional)

Mix everything together and enjoy thins delightful drink!

Mint Lemonade

– 1l water (still or carbonated)

– 100ml mint syrup (or more if you prefer)

– Add a few slices of lime or lemon (optional)

– Add a few leaves fresh mint (optional)

Mix everything together and enjoy this refreshing mint lemonade!

* In order to prepare your mint-syrup:*

Ingredients:
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
½ cup of dried mint

Instructions:
Put all ingredients in a pot and simmer.
– Stir to make sure sugar dissolves completely.

– Take off heat and steep.
– Strain and pour syrup into an airtight container.
